Adding CBD To a Smoothie
CBD can be applied directly to the skin topically or taken sublingually under the tongue. Both application methods yield an approximate ~30% bioavailability rate, with an average onset time of 15-30 minutes, and a typical duration time of 2-4 hours.
In contrast, oral or edible consumption of CBD in the form of food and drinks yields an approximate ~6-10% bioavailability rate, with an average onset time of 30-90 minutes, and a typical duration time of 4-8 hours.

Health Benefits of Peaches
Peaches are extremely high in vitamin C which helps prevent wound healing and keeps your immune system strong. Peaches are also high in antioxidants which help remove free radicals in the body (chemicals which have been linked to cancer).
The orange color in peaches comes from an antioxidant called beta carotene. Our bodies use beta-carotene by turning them into VItamin A, which is key for healthy vision. Peaches are filled with fiber, helping us with smoother digestion and prevents us from certain health problems like diabetes, heart disease, and colorectal cancer.
Peaches are high in potassium which helps lower blood pressure, lowers chances of kidney stones, and keeps our bones healthy.
Health Benefits of Raspberries
These small bright fruits are so powerful and are filled with essential vitamins and minerals which help prevent, treat, or even cure certain diseases. Raspberries are very high in certain minerals such as iron, copper, and manganese.
These three minerals help produce new blood cells in the body which in turn aid in reducing the risk of heart disease. Raspberries are also extremely high in fiber and H20 which aid in weight loss and hydration.
Vitamin A and C help enhance eye health and have one of the highest antioxidant concentrations which are known to fight cancer and reduce inflammation through their phytonutrients, as well as promote healthy skin through cell regeneration of bones, skin, and blood vessels.
Milk & Plant-Based Alternatives
As we know, milk contains proper amounts of calcium and protein. However, if you are looking for a dairy-free alternative, switching milk for any type of plant milk will do just fine!
Yogurt is also known to be high in protein as well as aid in preventing osteoporosis. However, dairy products like full-fat Greek yogurt are not for everyone. If you are looking for a dairy-free option, substituting full-fat greek yogurt for a plant-based yogurt is totally doable!
There are many types of delicious dairy-free yogurts made from almonds, cashews, oats, and even this easy 2-ingredient homemade coconut milk yogurt.
Benefits of Honey & Honey Alternatives
Honey contains vital nutrients that aid in antibacterial, wound healing, relieving coughs, treating bacteria, and protecting the brain.
If you are looking for a vegan substitution for honey that is natural and sweet, maple syrup or agave nectar work just as well!
Benefits of Ground Flaxseed
Ground flaxseed is a superfood!
Ground flaxseed contains the most lignans than any other food. A lignan is a powerful polyphenol that helps decrease any inflammation associated with cardiovascular disease, insulin resistance, and certain types of cancers.
Flaxseed is also an amazing source of the essential omega-3 fatty acids. In addition, flaxseed contains high amounts of fiber which aid in balancing digestion, weight loss, prevention of heart disease, and much more.
Benefits of Turmeric
Turmeric is a potent anti-inflammatory, as well as antioxidant. Turmeric has been scientifically proven to prevent heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease and cancer. Turmeric may also help in improving symptoms of depression and arthritis.

Benefits of Ground Cinnamon
Cinnamon has many impressive benefits including the ability to manage type 2 diabetes, reduce cholesterol, combat acne, reduce inflammation, freshen breath, act as an antioxidant, plump up lips, slow down signs of aging and speed up hair growth.
And the best thing about cinnamon is that it is extremely tasty and easily usable in many dishes, like this delicious smoothie.
